Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Waywie you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be old enough to consent where you live and provide accurate account information.

2. The service

Waywie helps you discover, record, and share outdoor routes with stories along the way. Features may change between app versions. Keep your sign-in methods secure and do not access another person’s account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Waywie the rights needed to host, process, and display it according to your publish settings, including generating share previews. Removing or deleting content withdraws public display except where copies were already shared or retention is legally required.

4. Inspired routes

When you complete someone else’s route you may create your own version from your recorded activity while keeping attribution to the source. Do not copy another person’s photos or text without permission.

5. Community standards

Do not harass others, post illegal or infringing material, share private information without consent, or encourage unsafe or unlawful activity. Use Report on a route or Block on a member in the app. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Safety

Routes and photos reflect conditions when they were recorded and may be outdated. Check access rights, weather, and your surroundings. Waywie does not guarantee GPS accuracy or personal safety on any route.

7. Termination

You may delete your account in Settings at any time when deletion is available. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for others. See our account deletion page for what happens to your data.

8. Contact and other terms

Contact contact@waywie.com about these Terms. The Apple Standard EULA also applies to the iOS app to the extent required by Apple. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this site.
